The block editor

Your page is a list of blocks. Each one is edited with its own controls.

  • Add, move and duplicate

    Click “+ Add block” and pick the type (each one explains what it is). Reorder by dragging or with ↑↓, duplicate with ⧉ and delete with ✕. The “+” between blocks inserts right there.

  • Columns

    Set the same width (½, ⅓ or ⅔) on 2 or 3 blocks in a row to place them side by side. On mobile they stack on their own.

  • Live preview

    Below the editor you see how your page is shaping up as you type, with your site's colors and font.

  • Click to change

    In the preview, hover any element and click the ✎: it takes you straight to that block in the editor. A template's photo is changed the same way.

  • Images your way

    Pick the photo from your media, set the framing by dragging it and its size, and choose whether it fills (crops) or shows in full.

  • Styled text

    Bold, color, size, font and links in your paragraphs, with alignment and a custom background per page.
